It’s an underdog’s world we live in.

What a day for sports yesterday was! It’s like, they’re on all day and you just can’t get enough. One game after another, non-stop! It’s like an emotional rollercoaster. You win some, you lose more. And then you think, “Why did I lose so many?” Well, that’s because the teams you root for are not very good.
You see, our system is flawed. The way it works is that you grow up in a certain area of the country, that area has a few sports teams, and so you go to their games and you become their fans. Then, Sunday football comes along and you are like, “Go team from my area!”, and you are completely heartbroken when they lose! The fact is that someone’s team from an area is going to have to lose and lets face it, there’s a 50% chance it’s going to be yours! Look, I’m not trying to be negative. I just think we should all go into these games with a level head and an amount of understanding.
That said, I have found myself in an interesting predicament. I heard from my friend Adam that tonight’s game will be The Jets vs The Dolphins! Holy Moly - these are two teams from two areas that are close to me. I grew up in Miami and lived for many years in NYC! What are the odds?!? 2 to 5 or something? One in a five hundred? It’s the most amazing opportunity for a positive experience. Therefore, in celebration of my good fortune, I will be live tweeting tonight’s game!
