A Tied Series & Knot-ledge Imparted!
What a championship in the process! It’s been a great week so far for basketball. Sunday night I watched game #3 at a bar before “trivia night” started and I saw that The Heat won. Now, that clarified what team I should be rooting for in the series - I had promised myself that whoever won game 3 would be the team I cheered for - so I was pumped! On Tuesday night my friend, Monica, said that if I watched the game with her she would provide the fish tacos - I obviously obliged. The game was great and the tacos were even better, but the most valuable thing about that night was the knowledge my dear friend imparted.
1. Monica claimed that Nowitzki takes circus classes to perfect his game. She said this with a straight face. I didn’t believe her at first, but apparently it’s true. I bet you he’s really good at juggling.
2. She thought Dwayne Wade looked upset. This is because he felt like his team let him down. She seemed pretty annoyed about that and she mumbled that he shouldn’t be upset about his team having an off night because he let them down a while back during a game against the Bulls. Wade, you gotta have patience with your team members!
3. She predicts there will be a total of 6 games. Not 7. This means one team will have to win the next 2 games back to back. Not an easy feat since both team’s trajectory has been to win one, lose one (or vice versa). Only time will tell Monica.
