Things I’ve Heard Here and There…

Soccer: The US women’s soccer team lost to the Japanese team during what I think was the Female World Cup. A lot of information in that sentence. Did you even know women had a World Cup dedicated to them?!? Also, why are they one year behind the men’s World Cup? They got so far in the competition that they were one of the last two teams at the end. Unfortunately, they lost. What a disappointment - especially because they lost during some kicks that happened in the very end. Chin up girls - NEXT YEAR!
Basketball: My friend, Monica, mentioned on Facebook that a basketball player that is almost 7 feet tall recently married a woman that is 5 feet tall. Now, I say “Wow!” to that! That’s 2 whole feet of a difference! My legs are probably a little over 2 feet long. That would be like putting a pair of my legs on top of my head and trying to reach my toes (the ones on top of my head)! Does that image make sense to you?
Baseball: Mets win here and there. They are not doing as bad this year as everyone thought they would. Whatever.
Tennis: US Open usually happens in August. August is coming up. It must be happening soon.
Football: Tony Romo is not a good quarterback. Someone said that at a BBQ I was at.
TV Football: Friday Night Lights had their show finale last week. What a good show!
Hope this helps everyone stay informed! xoxo!
